CRICKET OR RELIGION ?

Mr. Navratna Laxman in his article “The New Religion “ Deccan Herald Dated 3/6 has rightly mentioned that cricket as a game is religiously watched and enjoyed in our country today by practically every one .I fully endorse the view of Mr. Nava ratna Laxman .Religion pertains to God .There are two types of love mundane and spiritual. The love which is done other than God is mundane and the love done to God is spiritual..The mundane love can be done to the wife, husband, parents, chldern friends, money, power or Cricket. Every who does not have love of God he or she will have a mundane love .The cricket lovers love bat and boll as God .The test players have the honor of Prophet of religion .The enjoyment they find in the game is nothing short of entering into Heaven
The rulers who patronize the game of cricket want to keep the people away from politics and problems cropping up due to bad governance. Their errors and mistakes can be kept away from the public vision .People should always watch the players bowling and batting, Sachin a master blaster hitting sixes. Our youths think they get mental reward if they appreciate Sachin and Dhoni .They practice day and night to become Jr Sachin and Dhoni at the cost of their studies .The parents of our youths want their sons should become doctors, engineers scientists etc finally they become loiterers and waste the money of their parents neither they become Tindulkar or Dhoni.Their future becomes bleak.
The greatest loss of cricket is deprivation of real and true religion and its teachings, instead having correct concept of God a faulty concept is cherished man goes stray, lead a life of Kafer and finally sent to Hell for ever .The worldly loss is that our youths do not take interest in research of science and technology .what we see in the youths of Russia, America, China, Japan France etc .By taking undue interest in cricket they are lagging behind in all the advanced fields. By virtue of cricket the huge money is being accumulated in few hands of players .which is making the radical youths jealous and turning towards Maoism and Naxalism.
The caste Hindus want to protect their religious superiority keeping intact the caste system .They fear the spread of Islam and Christianity can erode the supremacy of caste Hindus .for this petty object they are sacrificing the precious lives if our youths of the nation.
